The story of EP Compressors is rooted in passion, family, and a deep connection to the world of diving.
It all began when Ed Paradiso, our owner, moved from Massachusetts to Florida as a teenager. With a love for the water, Ed started working on sailboats, diving, and fixing compressors—a skill that would soon become his lifelong vocation.

As fate would have it, Ed and his father, Ed Sr., took a significant step in their journey by purchasing Blue Grotto, a renowned dive spring in Williston, Florida. While managing the dive spring, Ed continued to hone his expertise, working on the compressors that powered their operations.
What began as a side business—fixing compressors for friends and local businesses—quickly grew into something much larger. Ed's dedication to quality and customer service led to the founding of EP Compressors, a company that has now been serving the high-pressure air compressor industry for over 30 years. Today, EP Compressors stands as a testament to Ed’s hard work, family values, and commitment to providing the best solutions for our customers.

He’s passionate about diving and spear fishing, and he treasures his time on the lake. Ed also has a love for adventure, whether it’s riding dirt bikes or simply soaking up quality time with his family and grandchildren.

Kelly Paradiso
Finance Director
Kelly Paradiso is the backbone of EP Compressors, managing everything from invoicing and bookkeeping to administrative support and HR. With nearly 30 years of marriage to Ed, Kelly has been a vital part of the business, ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Kelly is not only dedicated to her work but also deeply committed to her family. She has a charismatic personality and a passion for raising her three boys, who are now grown and pursuing their own paths.
Kelly loves spending time with her grandchildren and enjoys the water just as much as Ed. When she’s not busy with work or family, you’ll often find her with a good book in hand.

Carter Paradiso
President
Carter Paradiso, the middle child of the Paradiso family, is the third dedicated employee at EP Compressors. With a deep love for the outdoors and anything with an engine, Carter is always ready for an adventure—whether it's on the water, on a dirt bike, or tinkering with just about anything mechanical.

Carter is happily married to Sammie, and together they have two wonderful children who are the light of his life. He values family time above all and enjoys making new friends and connecting with people wherever he goes.

Carter’s enthusiasm for life, combined with his technical skills and passion for helping others, make him an integral part of the EP Compressors team.
